MY GO-TO BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE BOWL

Breakfast has got to be one of my favorite meals. Who am I kidding? I love every meal!  The best part about this recipe is it tastes like dessert and its good for you… aka #guiltfree

This smoothie bowl is :

  • ridiculously easy to make
  • veganpaleogluten freedairy free
  • richdark and chocolate-y
  • made with just 4-6 ingredients (depending on how fancy you want to get)
  • satisfies the sweet tooth, guilt-free
  • packed with tons of vitamins and minerals

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 medium ripened bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 1-2 cups of frozen berries
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 scoop of your favorite Vegan protein powder (click for $10 off my favorite)
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 4 dates
  • 2 cups almond milk

 

Extra boosts if you are feeling ambitious:

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add ingredients to blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender as necessary. This will take a few minutes.
  2. When you get a smooth, creamy mixture, scrape into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings

 

Some of my favorite toppings are:

  • Coconut shreds
  • Chia seeds
  • Granola
  • Berries
  • 1/2 banana
  • Peanut Butter
  • Oatmeal
